The H-F Racquet & Fitness Club (the Club), located at 2920 W. 183rd St., Homewood IL will hold the second race of its annual H-F Summer 5K Circuit, Wednesday, July 4.
Pre-registration ends Monday, July 2 @ Noon.
Pre-registration Fee: $22 Resident / $25 Non-Resident
Race Day Registration will be accepted. Fee is $30.
The Run for Freedom, an annual tradition pre-dating the Race Circuit, will start and end at Lions Club Pool, located at 1041 Ridge Road, Homewood. It is located directly across the road from the Izaak Walton Preserve, site of the Homewood-Flossmoor Park District’s annual Family Fun Fest.
The Run for Freedom, as well as each race, will have a unique Tech T-shirt as well as post-race refreshments. Professional timing, the Chip Timing system, is used for each race to calculate the overall and age group prizes. Awards are presented at each race and the overall circuit awards will be given at the final event, the Flossmoor 5K.
The main sponsor, Conroy Sports Physical Therapy will be on site at each race to provide warm-up and cool down therapeutic services to race participants.
