14 People Involved in Flossmoor Crash

Firefighters say no serious injuries were sustained by those involved in the four-car crash, including one pregnant woman.

Slippery road conditions lead to a four-car collision just before 11:45 a.m. earlier today, according to the Flossmoor Fire Department.

Fourteen people were involved in the accident at Vollmer Road and Kedzie Avenue, firefighters said. While one of the woman involved in the crash was pregnant, firefighters say there were no serious injuries.

Of the 14, Homewood paramedics treated two injured and Chicago Heights paramedics treated seven. Everyone else refused medical treatment, according to the fire department. Only one vehicle was significantly damaged.

Traffic is no longer delayed after emergency crews cleared the area.
