Advertising and Conservation Funding: What to Expect at the Next H-F Park District Board Meeting

The next H-F Park District Board meeting will be held on Feb. 15, and we've included the big items on the agenda.

 

The Homewood-Flossmoor Park District will be holding a board meeting on Feb. 15. While the district has been focusing heavily on preliminary budget planning since the New Year, this meeting will be business as usual.  Here are the big items on the district’s official meeting agenda:

School District 153 Willowview Park Lease Agreement

  • A report from the Executive Director recommending the Board of Park Commissioners consider a motion to approve Resolution #588 Authorizing the Extension of a Lease with School District 153 for Willowview Park.

Zoom Media Agreement

  • A report from the Racquet & Fitness Club Manager recommending the Board of Park Commissioners consider a motion to approve the three year contract with ClubCom, a subsidiary of Zoom Media, for digital advertising display service.

Swim Lesson Fees & Charges

  • A report from Superintendent of Parks and Planning Doug Boehm recommending the Board of Park Commissioners consider a motion to approve the increase in swim lesson fees as presented.

Resolution #587

  • A Resolution Calling on Congress to Implement Legislation Specifying an Annual Allocation of at Least 40% of Land & Water Conservation Funds to the State Assistance Program.
