Bogart's Named Best Burger
We asked who makes the best burger in town and you voted Bogart's number one.
On top of the current, whopping one pound black angus burger, Bogart's General Manager David Noreen says the restaurant is looking to put out a new signature burger, tentatively called "the Casablanca." It will feature an 8 oz. patty on a croissant bun with a slice of blue cheese.

Maybe they are good for burgers but one time i had a steak with a side order of mushrooms. The mushrooms came in a tiny bowl and for pretty much canned mushrooms reheated in the microwave. Terrible. 10 pieces of mushrooms soaked in water without any taste/flavor whatsoever. What about doing some cooking? Sauteed to remove the water, add some garlic, parley, butter.. Not difficult.

Shussbar, did I miss something? I thought this was about burgers, not how you think they should cook mushrooms.

Sure. It is also about Bogarts. The original thread on burgers is here. http://homewood-flossmoor.patch.com/articles/vote-who-has-the-best-burger
And the first message talks about onion soup :-) . And why is it such a big deal anyway.

I ordered a burger cooked "medium" at Bogarts. It mooed as I bit into it. The center was ice cold. I asked for it to be cooked a little longer. It came back like a brick, and a very nasty look on the server's face.
