Cops Nab Citgo Robber After Footchase
The Harvey man tried running from Homewood police after robbing the downtown gas station, but he was no match.
Homewood police arrested a Harvey man in association with a robbery at the 183rd Street Citgo gas station in Homewood just after 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 15, according to Deputy Chief Denise McGrath.
Victor Bobo, 38, of the 14900 block of Wood Street thought he could beat Homewood officers in a foot race after holding up the downtown gas station. He was wrong.
Police say Bobo was taken into custody minutes after his attempt to flee the scene. He was charged with robbery.

It couldn't have been an armed robbery. Illinois law strictly forbids people from carrying firearms like that.

I hope no one was hurt. Seems not.
On the lighter side, a robber named Bobo? Here's the definition of a bobo according to the Urban Dictionary:
"Basically an idiot. Someone who has no common sense, no morals and a lack of personality..."
Yep, that's him.

Was he running because he ran out of gas? Well, after the foot chase he literally ran out of gas....apparently....
