A hot dog, several kings, a couple Chicago Bears players and even Brad and Angelina showed up to Homewood's Dog Days of Summer last Saturday for a howlin' good time.
Barks replaced applause as each dog showed off its personality during the Pooch Parade on Ridge Rd. Crowd favorites included Kai (a black German shepherd) dressed up as a horse along with his cowboy master five-year-old K.C. Mahoney and first place winner seven-year-old Maya Olson from Homewood dressed as a princess as she carried her little mini princess puppy, Daisy.
