Welcome back, Patch Blogger!

Earth Day at Irons Oaks this Saturday

The wooded environmental learning center will be hosting its annual Earth Day celebration on Saturday, April 21. And Patch is sponsoring it.

Ever notice that we don't print on paper? Nor do we spend obscene amounts of money on fuel and vehicles for daily delivery.

Patch is all about being green (both literally and metaphorically).

That's why we're proud to announce our sponsorship of this year's Earth Day celebration at Irons Oaks Environmental Learning Center.

This Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., bring the family over for the free festival. Plenty of entertainment and activities will be provided, in addition to a hot dog lunch.

And don't forget, members of Homewood-Flossmoor and Chicago Heights Patch will be there giving out Patch goodies and hosting a contest! Make sure to visit our table and say, "hi!"
