Vigilant Neighbor Helps Cops Nab Serial Burglar
The arrest is directly related to cooperation from a local resident, according to Flossmoor Police.
Flossmoor police arrested 23-year-old Chicago Heights resident Richad Troiani in connection with a series of local residential burglaries, according to a notification from the department.
“This arrest was a direct result of community members reporting suspicious activity,” the notice said.
Police say a tip lead them to catching Troiana redhanded after he was seen breaking into a home on Lynwood Court Thursday. Upon investigation, Flossmoor detectives found property linking Troiana with multiple recent daytime burglaries on Dartmouth Road, Oxford Court, Cambridge Court and Chicago Heights.
Troiana was charged with three counts of residential burglary.

what house was broken into on Lynwood Ct? What did the person who reported it notice that prompted them to call the police? I live on the street and would like to know what's going on.

Before the haters start hating, you meant "Richard", not "Richad", right?

Last summer, there was a rash of break-ins in Flossmoor.. With the help of concerned homeowners, we were able to help the police apprehend 2 out of the 3 burglars that were from Chicago Heights! A couple of days ago, someone jammed my locks on my front door as an attempt to break into my home while I was at work… Maybe this is the 3rd person that should've been caught last summer!
