As far as not going to, "that theatre," pretty soon you won't go to that park or that grocery store or that anything. Your circumference of living gets smaller and smaller, just as I and many others experienced in Roseland.

Time of day that you can be out gets smaller and smaller also, until finally it no longer matters because the ghetto criminals who become your neighbors, have nothing else to do than watch your house alllll day and wait for you to go out just for a few minutes any time of day.

Sorry, try again, This was much wores: the restaurant attack was a premeditated white supremacist thing, the attackers followed the victims to a restaurant. It would have happened wherever the victims went to meet. The other was a neighbor dispute. Both involved adults. This was a RANDOM attack perpetrated by youths on total strangers. More in common with the wilding attacks by gangs of youth in Chicago.

I'm pretty sure that there were likely teens and or children in that restaurant as well...and I think the attack as far as the victims are concerned felt pretty "random" since they had no idea what was about to go down while enjoying their meal. I'm an extremely peaceful person...I don't believe in fights or hurting people. I think if caught the children/teens should get counseling and time in juvenile hall as the law dictates. Violence is violence...I don't care if it's a child or senior citizen, violence is NEVER ok...and it's terrible that this happened- but freak incidents happen and I hope that it doesn't happen again!

Some of these, "parents" are not even friends. They just reproduce and let their progeny run wild all of their lives victimizing others and finally reproducing their own progeny. These types would have no concept of what you just wrote.

Then they take over new neighborhood hunting grounds as they reproduce, driving out or killing law abiding citizens, creating new enclosed crime ridden areas that one would need a tank to drive through safely, and scream that the reason non-criminals left (driven out by crime) is racism.

I agree. Still wondering, though, if the parent responsible for transporting these kids was late to [pick them up in the day time or after dark. If after dark, even MORE reason to tell the parent(s) that he or she or they are epic failures. I totally blame the parents when the suspects are so young.

The media NEVER will give a description unless pressured to. I have called the Southtown and local police to say that if the Criminals are running free, I must have age, race, size, etc. I can't just be on the lookout for, "a man" or "youths."

I think the media and etc. just does not want to be sued for supposed racism.

To the Patch and Police departments:

Please provide descriptions of the accused criminals on the loose as this is the only way that your articles provide any service to the public. No one can be on the look out for the safety of business, home or person if your descriptions are limited to, " a man," or "a group of male and female youths."

I believe that protecting against potential accusations of racism is an additional danger to the non-criminal public if the result is no descriptions of perpetrators. It is bad enough that primarily ghetto thugs of all ages prey upon the non-criminal public. This silence of the media and police is only a boon to the criminals.

Thank you to the police for all else you do to protect the law abiding public, especially with the added difficulties of ghetto criminals and gangs pouring out of what were, originally, nice neighborhoods, seeking to victimize and convert new neighborhoods into the crime ridden slums they came from.

It is slash and burn behavior in terms of neighborhoods, and the police have additional work cut out for them.

Yes and some of these, "kids" are the size of football players. One of their pass times is to walk about 6 abreast down the middle of the street shouting racial slurs particularly at old women who have to pass through them while driving. Older women are their victims of choice. Then the parents of these, "babies" are first to scream and sue if anything happens. The media calls these young men and women, "children" as well though that is a misrepresentation.

But yes, be careful not to hurt one of these darlings, no matter what THEY say or do or how ever much crime they perpetrate. Keep the phone ready to call 911 and hope the police respond quickly.

I completely agree with all the social programs since many of the "parents" seem to do less parenting than a cat. The kids all have ptsd? Not as much as what their victims suffer when they perpetrate their crime on entire neighborhoods. Then these, "kids" who are not kids at all but young adults quickly reproduce so that the cycle starts all over again exponentially so that they need to spread out to take new neighborhoods.

Does that mean the young adults, not little children, of the Heights should go out and victimize others to take, "their fair share?" In Roseland we had no more money than the people who criminally victimized others. Yet we did not behave this way. So don't tell me the poor should victimize middle or upper middle class people.

If that is the case, the so called, "children" of Chicago Hts should go after the top 1% who are really responsible. Get your fair share from them please.
