To Jay - They're suffering from what I like to cal l"HH" Homewood-Hypocrites Syndrome. It's when your brain sends a signal that manipulates your auditory cortex so you can't hear the truth and then it disables you're left and roght frontal lobes so you can't speak the truth either. Effectively they're considered brain dead (some might confuse them with the terms idiot, dimwit, ignoramus, racist, entitled, etc.....all are acceptable considering the context with whom your are talking to)

Why hasn't this tragic story made mainstream media? I'm grateful for The Patch getting out the alerts, especially of the suspect's capture. But this hits close to home (my kids attended H-F with this guy and his younger sibling). Haven't heard a peep from ABC7, WGN, etc. Another sweep under the rug so as not to taint the image of our beautiful suburban enclave?

As you seem to be salivating yourself by following my posts....never said crime is only committed by one race...it's committed be all race (so maybe you're speaking about the stats of more african american men in prison for non-violent drug charges... while their white customer base is walking free...see stats show that too)...or when folks hollar about welfare queens and not smart enough to check the stats to see that single white women are the #1 recipients if this program ( stats show that too). Anytime you want engage that conversation I welcome the opportunity. ..see I know african americans committ and I also know that all Homewood' s crime is not AA based. My comment is directed to those individual who live on these post and ONLY seem to make racially charged comments on AA related incidents and chose to keep quite on others...that's who..if you fall into that category then yes I'm calling you and them out! So if equal numbers of each group are on welfare, it means that blacks are almost SIX TIMES more likely to be on welfare than whites. The violent and non-violent crime data, on a population-adjusted basis, is even worse. So, sorry I'm not "smart enough" to see your false equivalence......

I'm a numbers guy and will tell you each and every stat can be stressed and/or manipulated..so they have very little weight...see we can't use stats that are suppose be objective and say more blacks in prison for crimes without breaking them down and accounting for those intangible variables that people continue to over look...again stats show blacks are inherently more susceptible to harsher punishments than white counterparts; fact not opinion. Please stop all of you. This is a beautiful family, parents born and raised here and amazing contibutors to the community thru volunteerism. This is a tragedy for all. Don't use them to have a "racial" battle. They are one of the least racist family I know. Pray for them please.

What conclusion about whites do I have? Care to elaborate your facts or opinions? In no comment did I call any white person racist; I used a black/white comparison.... do you know what that means or do you need assistsnce in that too?
