A few sites that offer coupons online are Redplum and Coupons. You can also get E-coupons at Printapons and possibly at your local grocer's website.

Walt's hands down---a lot can be said for being able to simply TRUST that you will find fresh produce and meat!

I am a frequent shopper at Walts, have only one concern.... The meat department at Walts has a very distinct odor. When they did their renovation a while ago, the smell was gone (most likely due to everything being removed and replaced) this made me feel much better, however it only took a short time for the smell to come back. This simply says to me that they do not clean thoroughly. I wonder what the Health department would say. Anyone else notice this??

Travis,
I'm with you. It always smells like mold when I first walk through the door. Something should be done to shut the doors for a week or two, empty everything out and have the place thoroughly checked.
While they're at it, maybe they'll find the mouse I saw run from the service counter to underneath the first register...
I'm also curious how Walt's goes about getting their produce. Regardless of what we get, it seems the produce is at or just beyond the peak of freshness, so it doesn't stay fresh for long once we get it home. We wind up wasting a lot of money on Walt's produce because of this. Say what you will about the chain stores, but Jewel gets my money for fresh produce.

Bizzio's has an amazing deli counter, incredible butcher and their staff is outstanding! Wide variety of food choices and reasonable prices rivals Trader Joe's!

Yep, it's our local Trader Joe's that only a few us appear to know about or patronize.

Walt's gets my vote. I have found their produce to be fresh and lasts for a week if kept in the fridge. They always have staff in the aisles who stop what they are doing and help you find items in the store. They are also responsive to requests - years ago adding a different type of baby formula to recently bringing back my favorite brand of smoked salmon. Mostly I appreciate the friendly service. And a bug thanks for supporting many community events and organizations as well.

Shopping at Walmart (aka sending our $$ overseas) will not help the economy.
Shopping local is the best thing you can do for your bottom line!

Walt's. Walmart is horrible! Shop local as much as feasible, friends.

Walts. Compared to Jewel, walts's prices are fantastic. I however don't get my meat from them, for that I go to EuroFresh in Tinley

Mostly Walt's - but we follow the sale papers and coupons. We usually head to Walt's, Dominick's, Food 4 Less and then finally Country Squire.

Aldi in Glenwood. The people working there are friendly and the prices are very reasonable. They don't have everything so I usually also go to another store for some things but I've been impressed with the prices and quality. They are owned by Trader Joes and frequently you will find some of the same products for 1/2 the price of anywhere else. Many of the products are also made in Germany or the UK and have less additives in them so I think Aldi is a great alternative without driving to Orland to Trader Joes.. I find Jewel and even Walts are overpriced.

My husband, who does most of our grocery shopping, is a fan of Bizio's and Walt's.

I only shop at euro fresh, bizio's and trader joes for fresh produce and groceries. Soap etc is from walgreens or cvs. Looking forward to whole foods coming to orland!
