TIF Money for The Cottage On Dixie: On the Agenda

A preview of what's going to be discussed and voted on during Homewood's Jan. 22 village board meeting.

 

Homewood Village President Richard Hofeld and the village trustees will meet at Homewood Village Hall on Tuesday, Jan. 22 at 7:30 p.m.

The Cottage on Dixie TIF Incentive Money

Trustees will vote to approve $212,500 in tax incentive money for The Cottage on Dixie, Homewood's new fine dining restaurant located at 18849 Dixie Highway. The restaurant is scheduled to open Saturday, Jan. 26.

Girl Scout Cookie Proclaimation

Homewood Village President Richard Hofeld will usher in Girl Scout Cookie sales season with an official proclaimation.

Annual Committee and Commission Report Submissions

Annual reports from the Development and Beautification Committees and the Community Relations and Police and Fire Commissions will be acknowledged during the Jan. 22 meeting.

Public Works Work Management Software Purchase

Trustees will vote whether to allow a budget amendment for the $10,369 purchase of two Dell brand computer servers and work management software.

It's the same that was approved before but not yet paid out. If my understanding is correct, the village makes the business fulfill certain obligations before they write a check. A small remainder of their full entitlement will come over the next couple of years.
