Jesse Jackson Jr. has 'Mood Disorder': Sun-Times
Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. is not being treated for alcohol addiction or other substance abuse, according to the Sun-Times.
The Sun-Times reported that Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr.'s office released a statement saying the congressman is "being treated for 'a mood disorder'—not for alcoholism or substance abuse."
NBC earlier reported that yes, Jackson actually is being treated for alcohol abuse in Arizona.
According to the Sun-Times story, Jackson's people won't say where the congressman is getting help for his mood disorder, but the statement from his office claimed “The Congressman is receiving intensive medical treatment at a residential treatment facility for a mood disorder. He is responding positively to treatment.”

Hey Jesse, maybe you should resign if this job is too stressful, or maybe you are just plain hiding out so you won't get sanctioned or kicked out of the Congress. Like father like son.

Resign? Ha! That'll never happen. But it would be nice to see him voted out of office. Why we the people haven't done this a long time ago is beyond me.

I am not a great fan of Rep. Jackson's politics, and I am not a great fan of Sen Kirk's either, but I wish them both well as they recover from difficult medical conditions.
