Residents driving down 183^rd Street may have noticed a bit of construction going on at Lassen's Tap, 2131 W. 183^rd Street, over the past two weeks, as the local watering hole underwent a massive remodel. Gone is the dark décor, old-time bar top and crowded seating.

In its place, comes a new, brighter feel thanks to a fresh bar top, new seating and a decked-out bar with detailed carvings around a massive mirror and beer taps.
