Celebrate our veterans and enjoy a great parade today — Monday , May 30.

The parade starts at 10 a.m. and travels south down Dixie Highway to Olive Road and west to Harwood Avenue. It will then stop at Veterans Park for a ceremony.

Millennium Park is hosting a free Monday concert series all summer long. Memorial Day's free concert features "Emerging Artist of the Year" of 2009 Justin Townes Earle and R&B legends Andre Williams and the Goldstars.

Don't want to venture downtown? How about cooling off instead? The splash pad's opening day is Memorial Day! It is free to HF residents with proof of residency. Non residents are $5.

This is a GREAT time to have a garage sale or go garage saling! Lots of people are home, have free time on their hands, and are looking for bargains. Check Patch's classifieds and other great sites like G Salr for up to date listings all over the HF area!

Santa's Village is officially open as of this weekend. If you were lucky enough to score the Groupon, you will only pay $28 for a family of four. At Santa's Village Azoosment Park, there are pony rides, an educational petting zoo, a free flight aviary, interactive magic and game shows, an exotic animal show, as well as unlimited rides for the low admission price of $16.50 per person.

Children under 2 are free and here is a $2 off coupon which can be printed to save you even more!
