When/where? 7:30 p.m. at Flossmoor Village Hall

Mayor Paul Braun and the Flossmoor Village Board of Trustees will hold a public meeting on electrical aggregation and discuss the repainting of Meinheit Water Tower, among other things, during the village business meeting.

TUESDAY, MAY 8

Homewood Village Board Meeting

When/where? 7:30 p.m. at Homewood Village Hall

Village President Richard Hofeld will issue a proclamation acknowledging the 100th Aniversary of St. Joseph Parish, among other things, during the village business meeting.

BNI (Business Networking International)

When/where? 7 a.m. at Egg & I

Women's and Men's Association (WMA) Veterans' Potluck

When/where? Noon at Flossmoor Community Church

This special event is a Potluck luncheon to honor our FCC veterans. Several WWII veterans will share their stories and experiences while serving in the military.

H-F Spring Instrumental Concert

When/where? 7 p.m. at Homewood-Flossmoor Community High School

Concert Band & Wind Ensemble will perform at 7 p.m.; Chamber Orchestra & Symphonic Band will follow at 8:15 p.m.

Registration for Summer Camp 2012

When/where? 2 p.m. at Salem Lutheran Early Childhood Center

THURSDAY, MAY 10

H-F Dance Recital

When/where? 4 p.m. at Homewood-Flossmoor Community High School

Campfire Cooking

When/where? 6 p.m. at Irons Oaks Environmental Learning Center

S ‘mores and hotdogs are not the only thing you can cook over a campfire. Learn tricks to make cooking in the woods delicious and simple.  You will be cooking a meal over the fire and bringing home a few more recipes and tricks to try out.
