- Any dad who loves to cook will appreciate the"Real Men Cook" event downtown on Sunday. Chicago's "Favorite Father's Day Celebration" involves sampling great foods, enjoying Chicago entertainment and healthy cooking demos, as well as free prize giveaways. There aren't many dads that would say "no" to barbecue!
- If you have a dad who loves golf, play in Coyote Run Golf Course's 6th Annual Father's Day Tournament or take advantage of the special Father's Day rate at Ravisloe Country Club!
- For the outdoors dad, Irons Oaks Environmental Learning Center is holding their annual "Dad and Me" event which involves a nature hike and climbing the tower together. This event requires registration by June 15 and is $5 for residents and $7.50 for non-residents.
- If the weather cooperates, a refreshing day of family fun at the Lion's Club Pool followed by a Dairy Queen pit stop would create a perfect day for both dad and the kids.
