UPDATE: Andrew's Durkin Gets the Biggest Roar from the Crowd

Andrew baseball standout Dan Durkin notched 10 straight hits in one three-game stretch. He also outpolled 11 others in Patch's weekly MVP balloting. He is now eligible for March Patch Athlete of the Month recognition.

Andrew's Dan Durkin notched two infield hits and extended his hitting streak to 10 before reaching on an error in the bottom of the fifth inning in a 4-3 victory over Homewood-Flossmoor.
Andrew junior center fielder Dan Durkin went 5-for-5, including a home run, and drove in four runs in the T-Bolts' 20-5 victory over Oak Forest. He notched 10 straight hits in a three-game span. And he drove in the game-winner in the bottom of the seventh inning in Andrew's 3-2 victory over rival Sandburg.

Oak Forest's Tim Loeding stood tall at the net for the Bengals. He racked up five blocks and three kills in a 25-14, 25-19 victory over Argo.
Providence Catholic's Amanda Wilson did it with her arm and her bat in the Celtics' 2-1 victory over Andrew. Wilson went 1-for-3, including a two-run homer, and was the winning pitcher.
Marian Catholic's Devin Pickett went 3-for-4 in a 12-0 five-innnig victory over Bradley-Bourbonnais. He also had three stolen bases and scored three runs.
