By far, Sandie at Just Between Trends. Our family (4) have been going to her for 20ish years; wouldn't think of going anywhere else. TALENTED, accomodating, current, fun! We followed her from another shop, and would do it again. Makes getting your hair cut (highlighted etc :) enjoyable... and you look good!!

Erin and her staff at Cutter's are the best. When I first moved here I tried a whole bunch of places on the list above, but soon realized the best place for a great haircut!

I started with a 90 min. hot stone massage with Angela, a jet peel facial with Christine and I came home with the newest Bare Minerals makeup... Awesome!! I love going to Marc Alan Salon.....a wonderful place to unwind and relax. Kerra is a dedicated professional hair stylist who goes the extra mile to make your visit awesome. In addition, if you want a wonderful relaxing pedicure Young is the person to see. Both Kerra and Young do an amazing work.

Everywhere I go I explain the type of style I want...but I never get it. I am looking for long layers that feather back on an angle going downward. When my cut is complete, I wind up with a chopped up mess that angles the opposite way! I don't know if I am making myself clear so I will just ask...does anyone remember Farah Fawcett? Kinda like that cut. I need someone to fix my chopped up mess! Help!

I started going to Marc Alan about 15 years ago --- I have naturally curly hair and it's always been difficult to control and maintain in a hair style. I was fortunate enough to find not just one, but several, amongst the stylists, that seemed more than willing to deal with my hair (had not always been the case in my experiences). Ultimately, I had by hair done by a somewhat recent graduate of hair design schooling, who, really took control over my hair -- needless, to say, I was quite pleased. I also, over time, used other services, such as half-hour massages, etc.

I encouraged my daughter to go there and she does.

Yes, there is Chrissy, Kerra(sp?), Daniel, and a number of others, as well as estheticians, masseurs, and others, whose names I don't recall, to help you with your various needs, including make-up training. Most important, it is a comfortable environment! You can REALLY feel relaxed.

I have been going to Marc Alan for 15 years. I drive past 6 salons to get there, never thinking of going anywhere else. The treatment you receive from the moment you arrive is exceptional. My stylist Heather Blashill is truly a perfectionist. When I sit in her chair, I'm certain that she will work to make me look my best. Coming up with innovative ideas, truly an artist. My nail technicians, Linda and Young are sensitive to my every need. It may be encouraging me to try something new, getting a cup of tea and a warm pack during my pedicure! They both do an excellent job on my nails. Next, I need to tell you if you get Brazilian waxed you need to see Rebecca! Her technique is both efficient and thorough. I did travel to the city for this specialty and she is better. I love saving the parking fee and the time. They offer current products too. Lastly, I want to mention the owners Marc and Geri Melyon. They are both concerned and attentive to your experience. Always happy to see you and passionate about their profession. When I walk in its as though I'm in my home. Love it!!!

I love Daniel and the Marc Alan experience. Welcoming cup of coffee, soothing shampoo-massage and consistently great color and cuts that I never have to re-blow dry when I get home. My husband is also Daniel’s client, and always comes away with a great stylish cut.

Skyway Hair Stylists in Homewood has been a traditional barbershop for years and always a nice relaxing atmosphere.

Marc Allan is a wonderful salon. Angela Smith is my hairdresser and she is the greatest with color and cuts. I have naturally curly hair, but when I leave there, every strand is smooth and straight looking - not an easy achievement.

Also "Cami" is the best shampoo and scalp message tech that I have ever encountered in all my years getting my hair professionally done.
