Snow Expected to Continue Through Friday

A few more inches of snow may build up over the next couple days.

The National Weather Service in Chicago has included snow showers as part of its hazardous weather outlook, though it does not expect much accumulation.

Lake effect snow showers are expected to bring another one to three inches of snowfall between 9 a.m. and noon on Thursday. An additional one to two inches of snow may accumulate overnight with more snow expected Friday morning.

With low tempuratures and poor driving conditions, anyone who must venture outdoors during the night is advised to wear a hat and gloves. Or, you can take it one step further and check out Patch's 10 Things to Keep in Your Car During the Winter.
