Sports Photo Gallery: Marian Comes Out with a Ton of Brick,Topples H-F in Girls Golf Invite

Sylvie Brick came out firing darts.

Brick's 1-over-par 72 powered Marian Catholic past rival Homewood-Flossmoor in the season-opening Marian Catholic girls golf invitational on Monday, Aug. 15, at Coyote Run.

Marian finished with a team total of 320. H-F was second at 338.

The Spartans picked up a fourth-place finish from Bree Veazey (77). She also won the closest-to-the-pin award.

H-F was paced by Elizabeth Hassett (87). The Vikings played without Lauren Dawson, who left the team days before the start of the season.

I believe you have mixed up the names on the photos of Kaitlyn Hoag and Elizabeth Hasset.
