Two Charged in Recent String of Flossmoor Burglaries

Flossmoor Police just released an online notification announcing the arrest of a 17-year-old Flossmoor resident along with an 18-year-old Chicago Heights resident in connection with the recent string of Flossmoor residential burglaries.

Flossmoor Police just issued an online notification announcing the arrest of the two individuals believed to be responsible for the recent string of Flossmoor residential burglaries.

One 17-year-old Flossmoor resident and one 18-year-old Chicago Heights resident were charged by detectives in association with the four nighttime residential burglaries in the Heather Hills area that have occurred throughout the past two weeks, according to the notification. The two were charged with residential burglary, unlawful use of credit cards and burglary of a motor vehicle, police said.

These arrests come just days after . , Flossmoor Police said they were able to recover surveillance video from a Chicago Heights gas station where a stolen credit card was used.

According to the notification, Flossmoor Police recovered evidence from the burglaries.

Despite these two arrests, Flossmoor Police still urge residents to secure first-floor doors and windows in effort to deter potential criminals.

According to Flossmoor Deputy Chief Mike Pulec, the information regarding the accused is not being released yet because both await processing. We will update this article as more information becomes available.
