Vote: Who Serves the Best Breakfast?

Support your favorite local restaurants by voting for the best breakfast spot.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, it's said. So where do you like to go to start your day?

Instead of picking just one dish (best omelette, best french toast), I like to find a place that has both quality and variety. I don't want to eat the same thing over and over, and I love breakfast for its wide range of options.

VOTE: Readers nominated the options below either in the original article or on Facebook. To cast your vote, select an option in the poll at the bottom of the article. Also make sure to tell us why you picked your favorite in the comments.

Polls will remain open through Aug. 17.

To vote, you must be logged in to your free Patch account. Don't have one? Click "Join" in the upper right corner. The winner will be determined by poll votes only, not reviews or comments.

The good life has good food -- pretty excellent actually -- but it's too bad it takes at least an hour just to dine there. Coffee takes ten minutes, food takes at least 30, and you'll spend a good 25-30 waiting for your check. Please let the waitresses know to put a little pep in their step! A little multitasking never hurt anyone.

Hard to choose. We're so lucky to have so many great choices for breakfast!

What about the Continental in Country Club Hills? I eat there at least once a week. Friendly staff and quick service.
