What's the Best Breakfast Place in Town?
Don't miss the opportunity to nominate what you feel is the BEST restaurant to get breakfast in your community or a surrounding town.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, it's said. So where do you like to go to start your day?
Instead of picking just one dish (best omelette, best french toast), I like to find a place that has both quality and variety. I don't want to eat the same thing over and over, and I love breakfast for its wide range of options.
So tell us—What's the best breakfast restaurant in the area? There's no doubt that we have a repertoire of options.
Nominate your favorite breakfast restaurant by telling us in the comments.
Here are a few examples, but they MUST BE NOMINATED to be included in the poll! As places are nominated, they'll be added to a list and bolded.
We will accept nominations through July 9.

I agree with Mike. Nobody can beat The Egg & I for extensive menu, great quality food, and friendly service.

Actually, this isn't my vote...yet. From what I'm reading, this is only the nomination stage. The Egg & I is very, very good. But I enjoy Blueberry Hill, too. And Strawberry Fields in South Holland and sometimes even Gabe's Place in Glenwood. And, of course, Tom's, too. But they're gone now, so...
Anyway, my point is, I was just offering up a suggestion. My actual vote will come later.

The ScrambledDiner (250 W 81st st, Dyer) is worth the drive, Found it on TV and been there twice. My previous choices, Skyline an Egg & I are still good so All 3 should be on the voting list

Sorry, don't care for the Kingsberry at all. Egg and I and Blueberry are both excellent. Continental on 183rd is consistent, quick, and always good.

Gabe's is the best place around. I don't care for Blueberry Hill, their food tastes plastic...
