The Kindergarten class of Infant Jesus of Prague School wrapped up graduation requirements on Wednesday, May 30, 2012. They participated in a virtual trip to China, a Lemonade stand sale and multiple academically developmental topics and subjects throughout the 2011 – 2012 school year. They sang, clapped and danced their way through the ceremony.
The event was directed and organized by Kindergarten teachers, Ms. Kathy Piattoni and Ms. Stacey Swanson as well as Kindergarten aide, Ms. Mary Wernicke. Swanson and Piattoni thanked parents for their participation in their children’s education. They gave special recognition to volunteers who facilitated various activities and recess duties.
The youngsters joined in song with the lyrics, “Thank you for our Catholic Education.” They sang the “Our Father” and reminded the audience of the purpose of Catholic Education. Fr. Mike Nacius, Pastor of Infant Jesus of Prague Parish closed the event with an enthusiastic presentation of diplomas to the Kindergarten students.
