DESCRIPTION:Enjoy a great evening out while supporting PAWWS in its effor
 ts to provide military veterans with service dogs.\nThe first annual Blu
 es Showcase Chicago\, benefiting PAWWS\, will be held Saturday\, May 5\,
  from 6:00pm to midnight\, at the Lexington House\,&nbsp\;7717 W 95th&nb
 sp\;St\,&nbsp\;Hickory Hills.\nThe evening includes an array of well-kno
 wn blues musicians\, buffet\, drinks\, silent auction\, and raffle. Tick
 ets are $40 in advance\; $45 at the door.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nb
 sp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;\nPAWWS (Paws Assisting&nbsp\;Wounded Warriors) is ded
 icated to providing trained service dogs to&nbsp\;U.S.&nbsp\;military ve
 terans afflicted with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumati
 c Brain Injury (TBI)\, at no cost to the veterans.\nAll funding is deriv
 ed from charitable donations.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;\nPTSD a
 nd TBI are the &ldquo\;invisible wounds&rdquo\; that many of our veteran
 s carry with them for the rest of their lives. PAWWS dogs aid the vetera
 ns in the process of re-entering civilian life and help them cope with c
 hallenges so they can live more independent and prosperous lives.&nbsp\;
 &nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;\nPAWWS is based in&nbsp\;Palos Heights\,&nb
 sp\;IL\, and its staff is comprised of professional dog trainers dedicat
 ed to the training of all PAWWS service dogs. Canine candidates come fro
 m a variety of sources\, including rescue dogs.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbs
