Founded in 1920, the Homewood Public Library has a rich history in its community. However, don't let its age fool you. The Homewood Public Library has up-to-date resources, including a computer lab and an extensive DVD rental collection. It also hosts a variety of events for all age groups, from chess and Scrabble competitions to ice cream socials. The library also has extensive activities for the youth of the community, such as "Saturday Gaming," with a Wii and Playstation 2, and a "Reader's Theatre," which introduces children to theatre and drama.
