  active children&rsquo\;s bike groups that have encouraged over 100 chil
 dren to get on their bikes\, get riding\, and experience the natural wor
 ld around them.\n&nbsp\;\nFrom the humble beginnings of a grassroots Saf
 e Routes to School program to the development of a teen training ride on
  Saturday mornings\,Jane&nbsp\;has been able to get kids excited about g
 etting out of the house and getting active. Come join us to learn more a
 bout riding with your own children or grandchildren\, how to start up a 
 kid-focused bike group\, or advocate for more active modes of getting st
 udents to and from school for your community.\n&nbsp\;\n-Jane&nbsp\;Heal
 y\n&nbsp\;\nJane&nbsp\;Healy is a teacher\, coach\, bike safety instruct
 or and parent of three children (ages 8-15). She has written two success
 ful Safe Routes to School grants for her local school district (for over
  $100\,000)\, has advocated for the Cal-Sag trail project\, is president
  of the Blue Island Bike Club and is the president of the board of the A
 ctive Transportation Alliance. She also tweets on bike themes at\n@Bikin
