Stop by the Homewood Library or the Flossmoor Library to enter the Super Secret Super Hero Contest! Read four designated super hero books, answer a few questions on the questionaire, and return the sheet to the youth desk. If you've answered the questions correctly you will receive a puzzle piece. Complete the puzzle for a super special prize given out at the Irwin Center, 18120 Highland Ave. in Homewood at Super Hero Sunday on Sunday, August 12th from 6:00-7:00 p.m. This program is a collaboration between the Homewood-Flossmoor Park District, the Homewood Library, and the Flossmoor Library. More About Marie Irwin Community Center
The Irwin Center is the hub of the Homewood-Flossmoor park district. Besides serving as the main registration facility within the H-F Park system, it provides a variety of community classes for all ages, a preschool and a senior center. Concerts are also held here in the band shell, which is built into the west end of the facility.
