Come out to cheer on your children and friends at the annual
Watermelon Eating Contest. Bring your appetite and
be prepared to get sticky at this fun event. Participants are
divided by age group and compete to see who can eat the
most watermelon! Onsite registration begins at 2 p.m. with
the first age group beginning at approximately 2:20 p.m.
Prizes are awarded to the top three participants in each age
category following their event. All ages welcome!

More About Millennium Park
Millennium Park offers 6.5 acres of a splash pad, soccer field, roller hockey, playground, picnic shelter, with barbecue grills next to picnic tables. The park contains Moss Memorial Garden and Nardoni Memorial Garden. The walking paths are four-tenths of a mile long. The park is located on Harwood Avenue, across from the train station on Harwood Avenue in Homewood, Ill.
