Dive into Diggers at the Flossmoor Public Library

Kiddos curious about public works jobs and equipment can pop into Flossmoor Public Library July 23, from 2 to 3 p.m. The event will showcase what employees do, their equipment and more.

The men and women responsible for the operation and maintenance of Flossmoor’s public facilities and infrastructure are taking time out of their day to fill local youngsters in on their jobs. During the afternoon of July 23, public works employees and some of their equipment will stop by the Flossmoor Public Library, from 2 to 3 p.m., for the library’s Dive into Diggers event.

The event, which is open to all ages, is free to attend. Preregistration can be done by contacting the library at 708-798-3600 x 201.
