Get with the 'Force'! Tryouts for Fastpitch Softball Team Tuesday

Girls, get out your cleats. If you're looking for a team and a challenge, HF Force Fastpitch softball might have a spot for you.

Girls aged 14 and under are invited to step up to the plate and try out for the league's upcoming season. Tryouts are scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, at Apollo Park (located at Morgan Street and Bowling Green Road).

  • Friday, 9 a.m.—Women Together Luncheon. The Abby Foundation will host their 28th Annual Women Together Luncheon at the Tinley Park Convention Center on Friday, August 16. The guest speaker this year is Cook County State's Attorney, Anita Alvarez. The Women Together Luncheon exhibit area (for local businesses and nonprofit organizations) opens at 9:00 a.m. and runs until noon.  The luncheon begins promptly at noon.
