H-F Grad Helps Hearing Impaired

Southern Illinois University senior Briana Royster from Flossmoor was recently recognized for her work in facilitating communications with the hearing impaired. Her team’s system, “D.Scribe” allows for simplified conversation transcriptions. According to Royster, the system may also help those with autism or brain damage.
