New Owners Want $80,000 To Transform Old 'Tom's' Restaurant: On the Agenda

A preview of what's on the Tuesday, Sept. 10 Homewood village board meeting agenda.

New owners of the old "Tom's Family Restaurant," 1944 Ridge Road, Drs. Ron and Debra Eldridge are requesting $80,000 in tax money from the village to transform the building into a dental office.

Homewood trustees will consider whether the request from the current owners of Homewood's Eldridge & Eldridge Dental Group is an appropriate expenditure of Major Project Program TIF money during Tuesday night's meeting.

Also on Tuesday's agenda, village officials will review a request from a resident to build a second story on his home.
