Culver's of Homewood Teams with LifeSource for Summertime Blood Drive

Culver’s of Homewood, 850 183rd St., will team with LifeSource, Chicagoland’s Blood Center, for a summertime “Give a Pint, Get a Pint” blood drive on Wednesday, August 14, 11a.m.-6p.m.  All participating donors will receive a complimentary pint of Culver’s famous frozen custard, while participants who pre-register to donate will also receive a complimentary Culver’s value basket.

“Blood donations are typically at their lowest levels during the summer months, and that also happens to be when there is a great need for blood,” said Jack Rush, Culver’s of Homewood owner. “Through the efforts of more than 40 Chicagoland Culver’s restaurants, we will help collect more than 1,000 pints of blood this summer and help save over 3,000 lives.”

Interested donors can pre-register inside their local Culver’s or visit www.lifesource.org for rules and to see dates, times and locations of their nearest Culver’s blood drive event.
