Battle of the Bands tonight, July 12, in Irwin Park!
The growing music scene in Homewood-Flossmoor is taking it to the stage, with a free show – an all out battle of the bands - at Irwin park, Friday, 7-12, from 5-9 PM. Six bands will take the stage, including Into the Void, Inside Joke, 13 Spaces, Dream Drop Distance, Jolly Metal Giants, and Something's Not Right. This is serious talent doing seriously fun work on stage. Winners go on to a regional competition!
An after-show will take place just down the block at Mama & Me Pizzeria, where some of the bands will perform again, along with a Homewood parent band, featuring Trustee Anne Colton. Nothin’ but a good time.
