Art & Garden Street Fair This Weekend

Both days feature indie vendors with one-of-a-kind collections of fine art, contemporary crafts, antiques and garden decor. Fun for kids with performances by Justin Roberts and Ralph's World.

Homewood residents looking for a way to celebrate the official start of summer vacation have two days packed with activities at the 7th Annual Downtown Art & Garden Street Fair, June 13–14.

Friday kicks off the festivities with musical performances  by Justin Roberts and the Not Ready for Naptime Players and the Homewood debut of Ralph's World and features kid-focused fun all day long. Saturday offer something for everyone from shopping to workshops to music. Both days feature indie vendors with one-of-a-kind collections of fine art, contemporary crafts, antiques and garden decor. Food vendors include Grady's Grill, The Wurst Haus, Wiley's, Enjoi Bakery, Nina's Fresh Mexican Grill, Grandma's Goodies, and EmpanadUS, among others.

The Downtown Homewood Art & Garden Street Fair is Friday June 13 and Saturday, June 14 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Martin Ave and Ridge Road in downtown Homewood. FRIDAY, JUNE 13

  • 11 a.m: The Bubble Guy 
  • Noon: Award-winning indie children's musician Justin Roberts and the Not Ready for Naptime Players 
  • 1:30 to 2:30: Sweet Nobody, with kid-friendly favorites
  • 4 to 6 p.m.  Ralph's World

World of Enrichment offers Earth-Art, Science & Gardening Workshop featuring an exploration of how gardening, art and science are all interconnected—registration is required at 708-249-4008.

SATURDAY, JUNE 14

  • 10 a.m.: free outdoor fitness bootcamp by recent Homewood's own Intense Conditioning
  • 11 a.m: The Bubble Guy 
  • Noon:  ScribbleMonster and his Pals 
  • 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.: Matt Bailey
  • 3 to 6 p.m.: Eric Lambert and Friends 

Other Activities

DIY and garden workshops from Homewood Kitchen Gardens, Bloomberg Gardens and more. Kid crafts include creating something special for Dad from The Art Corner.
