Parade of Lights

The Homewood Fire Department is honored to once again sponsor the annual Parade of Lights on Tuesday, October 9. This annual event acts as an memorial to firefighters who have fallen in the line of
duty. The parade is scheduled to arrive from South Holland at the intersection of Ridge Road and Halsted Street at approximately 8:15 that evening. The parade will proceed west on Ridge to Dixie Highway. The annual Parade of Lights is a solemn event held during National Fire Prevention Week.

Please join firefighters and their families in remembering
those who have given their lives in the service of the community. The Parade of Lights also serves as a reminder to be fire safe in everything you do.
