Flossmoor Winterfest is Saturday
Santa Claus is coming to Flossmoor to kickoff the holiday season at the annual Flossmoor Winterfest.
Winterfest is a wonderful time of the year for families and friends to enjoy . In addition to enjoying the festivities, it is a great time to shop locally and support our businesses, which many are residents of Flossmoor.
On December 3, starting at noon in Downtown Flossmoor, residents can take trolley rides, visit the gingerbread village, enjoy holiday stories, party with Santa and Frosty at the children’s holiday party, and celebrate the lighting of the community holiday tree and menorah with hot chocolate provided by the H-F Lions Club.
But we cannot celebrate the holidays without giving to those less fortunate. The Flossmoor Community Relations Commission will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Bloom and Rich Township Pantries, and the Infant Welfare Society’s Flossmoor Juniors will be sponsoring a luminaria sale during the holiday party.
