Free Family Health Fair Returns March 23

All are welcome to the free fair, which offers a variety of testing services.

All are invited to stop by and check out the 31st annual Family Health Fair on March 23 at James Hart School.

The event, to be held 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., is sponsored by the Homewood Rotary Club and Ingalls Health System, and includes an array of free screenings, such as:

  • total cholesterol 
  • 12-lead EKGs (for people over 30 years)
  • cancer screenings for skin, colon, oral and breast
  • osteoporosis 
  • arthritis 
  • back and joint pain screenings
  • allergy tests 
  • vision exams 
  • hearing screenings
  • mini massages, and more

A $10 lipid profile (which requires a 12-hour fast) also will be offered, along with many other discounted blood tests, including prostate, thyroid and glucose screenings.

Registration can be completed ahead of time, at Ingalls.org/HealthFair. All are welcome; there are no residency restrictions.
