All are invited to stop by and check out the 31st annual Family Health Fair on March 23 at James Hart School.
The event, to be held 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., is sponsored by the Homewood Rotary Club and Ingalls Health System, and includes an array of free screenings, such as:
- total cholesterol
- 12-lead EKGs (for people over 30 years)
- cancer screenings for skin, colon, oral and breast
- back and joint pain screenings
- allergy tests
- vision exams
- hearing screenings
- mini massages, and more
A $10 lipid profile (which requires a 12-hour fast) also will be offered, along with many other discounted blood tests, including prostate, thyroid and glucose screenings.
Registration can be completed ahead of time, at Ingalls.org/HealthFair. All are welcome; there are no residency restrictions.
