After dealing with a roof fire last night, the popular Homewood restaurant is opening its doors for business.

 Owner Kelly Garofalo broke the news just before 5 p.m. via a post in H-F Patch's comments section. The following is a reproduction of the comment:

We always knew Grady's Grill was the hot spot for food and drink in Homewood. We just never realized how hot until last night!

We have been diligently working through the night and are happy to announce that Grady's Grill IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS.

The restaurant's roof caught fire just before 8 p.m. last night and was quickly put out by firefighters. Garofalo said quick action by the managers helped to evacuate all dining guests safely and no injuries were sustained.

Homewood Fire Department has yet to respond to inquiries about the investigation.
