Local Dog 'Jezebel' Shamed in New Book
One Homewood dog is still paying the price for a weak moment of gluttony.
What once was a moment of mini-disaster for Homewood resident Debbie Hart is now immortalized in the book Dog Shaming.
The lighthearted picture book features a photo of Hart's dog, Jezebel—a redbone coonhound adopted from the South Suburban Humane Society—looking rather ashamed of the nine red velvet cupcakes (including paper) she had just eaten.
