American Cancer Society Focus Group

We invite you to attend the Homewood Flossmoor Relay For Life Focus Group which will take place on Thursday, March 3rd from 7:00pm – 8:00pm at the Flossmoor Public Library.  We have chosen you specifically because you are a vital part of the community and can offer information that can be valuable to the overall success of this event. We would love to gather your insight on what can make this event more inclusive and appealing to the entire Homewood Flossmoor Community.

 Please note that this focus group is a one-time commitment.  However, if you feel inclined to do more, please let us know.

 What is RELAY for Life?

 The American Cancer Society’s signature community event is Relay For Life.  This event is filled with fun and provides an opportunity for individuals to honor survivors and remember those who have lost the fight.  This event has been a vital part of the community for years and has provided an avenue for the community to gather and show support for one another.  As of late, it has been on the decline in terms of participation and revenue.  We feel that this can be attributed to lack of appeal and representation of the entire community.  Therefore, this event is in need of an assessment that will hopefully change its direction.

 What’s the next STEP?
