Mayor Hofeld to Read at Homewood Library

Village President Richard Hofeld is scheduled to read to the K-2 Storyhour at the on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 4 p.m. as part of our Community Leaders Are Readers program.

Prior readers were Greg Weiss, drama & speech teacher at , who used his extraordinary storytelling skills to illustrate Aesop's "The Wind and the Sun" and "The Pigeon and the Ant" and Sammy Bacino, who taught the children about racing pigeons and released his pigeons in the parking lot to fly home.

Future readers will include Bill Wright on Thursday, Oct. 20 at 4 p.m., Kelly Joslyn from who will read "Be Nice to Spiders" on Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 4 p.m., and Pat Nevins, Commissioner and thespian, who will regale the children with Halloween tales on Thursday, Oct. 27 at 4 p.m.
