Congratulations to Chrissy Bennett for winning "Most Trusted Hair Stylist" in Homewood-Flossmoor in our recent readers' choice piece.

Bennett has been working at for eight years now. Owner Geri Melyon says her loyalty and dedication sets her apart from the rest.

"The reason she has built a dedicated following is her commitment to pamper(ing) her guests," Melyon said. "Chrissy believes in giving her guests exactly what they want, so she listens carefully to what they tell her.   

Melyon also pointed out Bennett's charitable nature.

"Whenever we have had a cut-a-thon to benefit a local cause, she never said no," Melyon said. "She donates her time and always with a smile."
