When and how did your business get started?
In 1972, my wife Suzie and I opened the first Hallmark Store in the area on Ridge Road. About 11 years ago, we moved around the corner on Harwood Avenue into a new two-story building with condos on the second floor. We occupy 5,000 sq. ft. on the first floor and have a bridal dress shop next to us.
What is your business best known for?
We specialize in Hallmark Cards, gift wrap, albums, stationery, candy, gifts for all occasions from over 50 vendors, and we are the only dealer in the area that carries the complete line of Dept. 56 Villages, accessories and Snow babies. Our staff is very friendly and knowledgable and willing to help you find just the right item. Service is what we pride ourselves in.
