First Homewood Cash Mob

The first Cash Mob in the South Suburbs will be held from 4 to 6 pm on Saturday, April 14th, with the aftermob get-together starting at 6 pm.

Gather at the parking lot on the SE corner of Harwood and Kroner, downtown Homewood, for the announcement of the mob and aftermob venues. If you can't make it at 4 pm (or if you're the type to open your Christmas presents before Christmas), check our announcements on Facebook, Twitter, or here on Patch on Saturday morning.

The Cash Mob movement is a new grassroots effort that uses social and traditional media to gather people together to "mob" a local business, providing the business with a mini-economic stimulus and free publicity. Then we head to a local eatery for post-mob bonhomie.

Check out our Facebook page or follow us on Twitter (@HomewoodCashMob) for more information.
