MAKING STRIDES AGAINST BREAST CANCER CRETE/UNIVERSITY PARK INFO SESSION TO BE HELD APRIL 18TH
Crete, IL, – Volunteers working on the inaugural Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Palos Heights, will host a kick-off rally on Wednesday, April 18th at 6:00pm – 7:00pm. at Balmoral Park located 26435 S. Dixie Highway, Crete, IL. Residents are invited to attend to learn more about Making Strides and how they can be take part.
“We are so excited to bring this nationally acclaimed walk to our community, said American Cancer Society's event manager Michelle Pruitt. There is so much we can do for our neighbors, families, and companies through Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Anyone can get involved and help our community fight back against breast cancer. Just give us a call and we will help you start a team.” The 5K non-competitive walk will be held on Saturday, May 12th at Balmoral Park. Teams of walkers will complete a 5K course and take part in activities before/after the walk.
