The Cancer Support Center's 5th Annual Presidents' Ball: honoring The Aurelio Family

Saturday, March 19, 2011, The Cancer Support Center proudly presents the 5th annual Presidents’ Ball.  Join us for an evening of fabulous entertainment, cocktails, dinner, dancing and more at Idlewild Country Club, 19201 Dixie Highway, Flossmoor.

During this inspirational evening we will celebrate life, love and family by honoring the generosity of one of the Chicago Southland’s most giving families: The Aurelios, with the 2011 Richard K. Desser M.D. Spirit of Life Award.  The Sprit of Life Award is presented each year to a local Southland resident who has made a significant impact on cancer patients and their families.  Join us as we thank The Aurelios for their steadfast support of The Center and its programs.

“The Center is honored to present the Richard K. Desser, M.D. Spirit of Life Award to the Aurelio family.” said Melissa Barrett, the Executive Director of The Cancer Support Center.  “We are grateful to have the Aurelio family in our community. They have provided years of generosity to our community and to The Center.”

The Women’s Board of The Cancer Support Center will be presenting the Extravagant Basket Raffle where one-of-a-kind items will be packaged into themed baskets and raffled off at the end of the night.  Additionally, guests may honor or recognize a loved one through a special $25 tribute to be displayed at the event.
