Conroy Orthopaedic joins Sertoma Speech &Hearing providing Club members and non-members with additional health and fitness offerings.

Conroy Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy was founded by Dr. Douglas E. Conroy in 1986 in order to provide physical therapy at a higher quality and a more personal level. Physicians from all over the Chicagoland area refer to Conroy Physical Therapy because they trust and value the competent care their patients receive. Dr. Conroy is personally involved with each and every patient's treatment program. His one-on-one personal care compliments his vast experience and training, which include a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and an Advanced Masters in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy. In addition Dr. Conroy holds a faculty appointment of Assistant Professor at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine Department of Physical Therapy and Human Movement Sciences.

The H-F Racquet & Fitness Club was established in 1973 as a tennis and racquet facility. Since that time, the Club has expanded three times. It currently consists of a 12,000-sf fitness center including an indoor track, over 50 pieces of up-to-date cardio equipment, a free weight area, and a group fitness studio for its more than 40 classes. It also houses 10 indoor tennis courts, racquetball and basketball courts, a 4-lane lap pool, a private Pilates Reformer personal training studio and upscale amenities including locker rooms with towel service, steam rooms and whirlpools, and a members’ lounge. It offers Personal Training, group and private lessons, special adult and youth programs as well as programs for special needs students.

The Club is a facility of the Homewood-Flossmoor Park District, a two-time National Gold Medal Award Winner for Excellence in Park and Recreation Management.
